Method of preparation :
Preheat oven to 170 degrees and line 3 baking trays with parchment paper.
In a mixer bowl, place the water, yeast and 2 tablespoons of flour with the dough attachment. Let the mixture stir for 5 minutes. Add the remaining 3 cups of water, butter, salt and pepper.
Knead elastic dough for about 7-8 minutes.
Cover and leave for 15 minutes.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and divide it into 8 pieces.
Roll each into a long thin wick, which you cut with a knife to get about 15 cm of salt.
Arrange them in the pans and bake them for about 30-40 minutes until golden and crispy.
