How To Cook Sandwiches With Goat Cheese, Pesto And Tomatoes - Recipe

Required products :

  • 300 grams of puff pastry
  • 6 tablespoons prepared basil pesto sauce
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts (or other)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 ripe tomatoes (medium)
  • spices

Method of preparation :

Roll out the dough into a rectangle measuring 40 x 25 cm, flatten the edges and cut into 6 rectangles. Arrange them in a tray lined with baking paper, pierce their surface with a fork in several places.

Spread the dough with the sauce, arrange thin tomato rings on it, then the cheese and sprinkle with nuts. Sprinkle with olive oil, season and close the filling with the dough, as it should not wrap it completely and the middle should remain open.

Bake the sandwiches in the oven at 200 degrees. In about 15-20 minutes they will acquire a light golden color. Serve them with lettuce.
