Required products :

  • 230 grams of skim cream cheese, soft
  • 100 grams of cottage cheese
  • 230 grams of grated cheddar cheese
  • 100 grams of allspice peppers from a jar, drained and cut into cubes
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 2 teaspoons onion, finely grated
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • hot sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

for garnish:

  • crushed walnuts (or pecans)
  • fresh parsley, chopped
  • baked and crushed bacon

Method of preparation :

Blend until creamy cream cheese and cottage cheese. Pour into a bowl and mix together with the pepper allspice, mustard, onion, lemon juice and hot sauce. Add the cheddar cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste, stir.

Pour in separate shallow plates the crushed walnuts, chopped parsley and bacon. Make balls with the cheese mixture, roll them in a garnish of your choice and serve.
