How To Cook Spinach Casserole With Onion, Garlic And Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 300 - 400 grams of fresh spinach
  • 250 grams of parmesan
  • 100 grams of salty crackers
  • 40 grams of butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 grams of cheese
  • 100 milliliters of cooking cream
  • 1 onion
  • 2 - 3 cloves of garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Melt the butter, crush the crackers to get crumbs, grate the parmesan.

Mix 100 grams of it with the crumbs and butter. Separate 3-4 tablespoons of the combination, and pour the remaining amount into a baking dish. Spread a thin even layer and bake in the oven at 170 degrees for 10 minutes.

While the base is baking, make the mixture for the casserole itself.

Stew the spinach in a pan until the liquid has completely evaporated.

Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry for about 10 minutes.

Mix the cheese, parmesan, cream, onion and garlic, eggs. Add spinach to them, stir and season to taste.

Pour the mixture on the prepared base, sprinkle with the set of crumbs, butter and parmesan set aside at the beginning.

Place the dish in the oven and bake until done (between 30 and 45 minutes) at 160 - 170 degrees.

The casserole should become thick and an appetizing crust should form on the surface.

You can tolerate both hot and cold.
