How To Cook Syrupy Semolina Cake With Yogurt And Almonds - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons semolina
  • 2.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 packets of vanilla
  • 200 grams of butter (melted but cold)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons of yogurt
  • 30 almonds

 

For syrup:

  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons of water
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice


Method of preparation :

First make the syrup by pouring the water into a suitable container, add the sugar, lemon juice and stir until the sweet crystals dissolve. Put on the stove, cook for 3-4 minutes and remove from the heat. Allow the syrup to cool and work on the cake.

Pour the baking powder and vanilla into the semolina. In a separate bowl, beat the butter (melted and cooled) with the sugar until white.

Add the eggs one by one to the butter, then add the semolina and yoghurt.

Pour the mixture into a greased pan. Arrange the almonds on the surface of the dough and bake the dessert at a temperature of 190 degrees for half an hour.

Remove the cake from the oven, cut it into pieces and syrup with the already cooled sweet liquid.
