How To Cook Wholemeal Pumpkin, Cinnamon And Cheese Cream - Recipe

Required products :

For the whole grain base :

  • 2 teaspoons wholemeal flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh milk

For the cream :

  • 225 grams of cream cheese
  • 425 grams of pumpkin puree
  • 3 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 280 grams of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger

For garnish :

  • whipped cream
  • cinnamon

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease with a baking dish measuring approximately 23/33 centimeters.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the egg, melted butter and milk and stir until well combined.
  • Spread the mixture on the bottom of the prepared form and lightly press with the back of a spoon.
  • Beat the cream cheese with the pumpkin puree with a mixer for 3 minutes.
  • Add the eggs, vanilla and melted butter and mix well.
  • Add powdered sugar and aromatic spices and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the cream over the wholemeal crust and lightly flatten with the back of a spoon.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, and at the end be especially careful not to burn the cake.
  • Allow to cool completely and cut into squares.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.
