How To Eat For Better Concentration?

Which products, ingredients and rules help maintain a good concentration of the mind?

There are no foods that make us smarter , but there are still foods that can cheer us up, tone us up or help us be more focused. The substance we can count on for this is caffeine. It can be found in coffee, energy drinks, some desserts and soft and certain medicines. Caffeine has an invigorating effect in the short term. Excess caffeine, however, has the opposite effect, you experience discomfort and fatigue faster.

Blood sugar is our "fuel". Foods that contain sugar can improve brain activity, but it should not be overdone. It has an amount that is healthy to take and is preferably not in its refined form. It is much more useful to eat a natural product containing carbohydrates and specifically, sugars  - such as fruit. In the long run, consuming too much sugar undoubtedly affects the metabolism, figure, but also cardiovascular health.

The breakfast, containing high- fiber whole grains, fruit and milk, charges the body with good energy and provides condition to the brain, so it is not to be missed.

One of the most beneficial foods for the brain is rich in beneficial fatty acids. An omega-3 diet is associated with a low risk of dementia and vascular events, including cognitive decline and memory impairment with age.

Why should you eat nuts for good focus? They contain the antioxidant vitamin E , the intake of which is associated with lower cognitive decline. Chocolate lovers should know that they should not give it up, but it is necessary to focus on its more useful type, such as black. A row of chocolate and a handful of nuts are a magic formula that can be present in the weekly menu.

Another option is to eat avocados, whole grains, seeds - because of the useful fats , fiber and valuable trace elements.

Blueberries are not accidentally defined as a super food. They contain specific antioxidants that reduce the risk of dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Their consumption has a beneficial effect on brain and muscle activity.

To keep our minds in good shape all the time, we must strive to provide our body with valuable nutrients on a regular basis - one dose of healthy food for a whole week is not enough effort; we eat a balanced diet at regular intervals so that the brain does not experience a deficiency of one or the other and its energy level is constantly maintained.

The vitamins and minerals that the brain loves are those of the B group, C, E, beta-carotene, magnesium .

Herbs such as ginseng and ginkgo biloba would probably help with good concentration, but the results of the research are not 100% definite for their benefit - there are still positive data.

Another important rule is to always stay well hydrated . If the brain is deficient in water, any dehydration, even to a small degree, does not affect its functioning well. And how else, these subtle processes, in which so many compounds are exchanged for one thing or another to happen, require a good aquatic environment and the ability to move.
