One Packet Of Chips = 5 Liters Of Oil

Consumption of chips has been found to be a major culprit for overweight and obesity.

Consumption of one packet of chips per day is equal to the consumption of 5 liters of oil. According to experts, this finding should be like a signal lamp, how chips and snacks can seriously harm health. They call for product labels to warn of the harm of consuming them, like cigarette packs.

A new study shows that food companies have transformed chips from light and tempting breakfast, as it was in the UK in the 1970s, into a product full of chemicals that people are addicted to.

A packet of chips is full of fat, salt, and sugar, which stimulate the pleasure centers in the brain and lead to an irresistible desire to consume them.

The chips contain a toxic chemical, acrylamide, which is colorless, tasteless, and odorless. The chemical is associated with damage to DNA structures.

According to the World Health Organization, chips contain 1343 mcg/kg of acrylamide.

British research shows that consuming large amounts of chips during pregnancy is equivalent to smoking in terms of harm to the fetus.

It has been established that the consumption of chips is also a major culprit for overweight and obesity.

The large amounts of salt contained in it contribute to the development of heart and cancer, type II diabetes, as well as damage to the fetus during pregnancy, hyperactivity in children and others.

The results and findings of the study are published in the New England Journal.
