Love to cook? Then here's a list of 10 tricks to make your food even tastier.

The hacks are very simple. After all, the essence is in the details: even a small pinch of spices can dramatically change the taste of a dish.

1. If you decide to bake meat in the oven in a large piece, bake it in a “sleeve” or foil. And to get a beautiful crispy crust, grease the meat with a mixture of brown sugar or honey with ketchup 5-7 minutes before the end of cooking.

2. To give borscht a pleasant aftertaste, put a small piece of raw beetroot into the broth or add beetroot juice.

3. Chicken cutlets will become more tender if you add a spoonful of semolina. And if you add raw potatoes to minced meat, then the cutlets will become softer and juicier.

4. If you are a fan of herbs and greens in dishes, then use the following trick. Hard herbs (rosemary, sage, cumin, oregano) should be added at the very beginning of cooking so that they steam out and give all their taste. Add soft greens (parsley, dill, cilantro, basil, green onions) at the very end of cooking, otherwise they will lose their color and structure, and, conversely, may give an unpleasant aftertaste.

5. Soy sauce is a versatile thing. A couple of drops of sauce will not only enhance the taste of meat, fish or vegetable dishes, but also add an interesting note.

6. A pinch of sugar is good not only for desserts, but also for meat, seafood, and vegetables. Sugar perfectly sets off the salt, enhancing and enriching the taste of the dish. But do not overdo it, sweet meat is a dish for everyone.

7. If you use herbs in dried form, then, in order to enhance the taste and aroma, first lightly fry it in butter or vegetable oil, and only then add it to food.

8. Omelet is a great breakfast dish. Add some cold water to the eggs, then beat as usual. The omelette will turn out much more magnificent and tender. Follow the correct proportion - for 4 eggs you need 2 tbsp. l. water.

9. To make the meat juicy and soft, you need to salt it at the very end of cooking or ready. And spices can be added at any time during cooking. Before serving the meat on the table, wrap it in foil, let it rest for 10-15 minutes so that the juice is evenly distributed throughout the piece.

10. If you do not like boiled potatoes in first courses, then add tomatoes to half-cooked potatoes. In this case, the acid will not allow the tubers to boil, they will remain hard and crispy.

Even the most ordinary lunch or dinner can be turned into a festive feast! Cook with pleasure!
