Sometimes you really want the cleaning in the kitchen to happen by itself: the dishes were washed by themselves, the cutlery sparkled like new, and the miracle vacuum cleaner removed all the dust and dirt in the house, and also washed the floor to boot. But, alas, only Harry Potter or Cinderella probably have such magical gadgets. And we, mere mortals, have to clean the kitchen with our own hands.
How to make cleaning in the kitchen easier and faster? 12 life hacks to help you!
1. The key to quick cleaning in the kitchen is the habit of not littering your kitchen drawers and nightstands with all sorts of nonsense. Get rid of everything superfluous and unnecessary! Each pot or jar of spices should have its place, get used to it yourself and teach your household.
2. Start cleaning correctly - from top to bottom. Dust all surfaces first, then clean tables and countertops, then vacuum and mop floors. If you do the opposite, you will have to clean up again, whatever one may say, and some crumbs will fall on the washed floor.
3. The refrigerator is the most important place in the kitchen: it stores 60% of food. Keep it always clean, store food in the designated departments. And for a fresh smell, put coffee beans in the refrigerator, they will absorb all the unpleasant odors.
4. If you want to quickly and easily clean the stove, oven or microwave from fat, soda with vinegar is an indispensable tool. Add a little dish detergent to the vinegar and soda, smear the dirty and leave. Rinse with warm water after 15-20 minutes. The result will surprise you: what had to be scrubbed for a long time and tediously will be washed off quickly and easily.
5. A burnt pot or stewpan will be saved by a simple remedy - a mixture of vinegar and lemon juice. It will shine like a new one did not shine!
6. Another trick - everything that is used very rarely, put it in the farthest drawers. For example, cake molds are needed once a year, put them in the farthest corner, and take them out when you need them.
7. Use devices that make it easier to store things: hooks on the doors, stands for small items, etc. So you will always find what you need.
8. Rule for every day: if something fell off the table or milk ran onto the stove, do not put it off until later. Wipe clean immediately, collect crumbs and throw in the trash.
9. If you want the kitchen sink to always remain clean, do not clutter it up with a mountain of dishes, but wash everything immediately after eating or during cooking, when any free minute falls out.
10. To make spoons, forks and table knives sparkle like new, put them in a deep saucepan, fill with water, add a spoonful of soda and boil for 5-7 minutes. Rinse well and - voila, there will not be a speck of dirt or grease anywhere. This hack is suitable for stainless steel and silver appliances.
11. To super-clean plastic cutting boards, you just need to soak them for an hour in water, then wash. With wooden boards, another method works, but everything is also simple: rub the boards with a mixture of salt and lemon juice, leave for 15 minutes. As a result, the boards will be clean and free of foreign odors. And to get rid of germs, put the board in the microwave for 1 minute.
12. Use sponges, rags and products according to technology and purpose - this will significantly reduce your cleaning time. Wash everything with gloves on and your hands will thank you.
