Alkaline Diet: Without Excess Weight And Stomach Problems

Alkaline diet to normalize the acid-alkaline balance. How to lose weight on an alkaline diet. A state of increased acidity and excess weight. Alkaline products for weight loss.

The average diet site offers visitors hundreds of ways to lose weight, but not all of them are safe and pleasant. We found a wonderful nutritional system that normalizes stomach acidity, regulates appetite and weight in six months. The name of this miracle is an alkaline (alkaline) diet.

Proponents of an alkaline diet are recognized Hollywood beauties: Victoria Beckham, Elle McPherson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston. The stars owe their gastronomic passion to nutritionist Natasha Corret and nutritionist Vicky Edson, authors of the Honestly Healthy Food project. We share with you the main principles of the alkaline diet.

The essence of the alkaline diet

Food products can be divided into alkali-forming and acid-forming. If the acid-alkaline balance is disturbed in one direction, a person risks getting sick.

A state of increased acidity (acidosis) is one of the most common consequences of improper nutrition. People drink little water, abuse acidic products (meat, alcohol, sweet carbonated drinks, buns, mayonnaise), get nervous and physically tired, as a result of which tissues and organs receive little oxygen, and useful minerals (calcium, sodium, potassium , magnesium) are washed out.

The main consequences of acidosis:

  • lack of oxygen in the blood, diseases of the cardiovascular system;
  • overweight;
  • diabetes;
  • formation of stones in the kidneys and bladder;
  • bone fragility, muscle pain, general weakness;
  • decrease in immunity.

An increased level of alkali (alkalosis) also disrupts metabolism, but it occurs much less often and, as a rule, is the result of the use of alkaline drugs. Alkalosis leads to diseases of the liver and gastrointestinal tract, deterioration of the skin, constipation, food allergies, and the appearance of bad breath.

The percentage ratio of alkali-forming and acid-forming food should be 80 to 20.

Initially, the alkaline diet was intended to normalize the pH level, but people who follow it noted a gradual return of weight to normal indicators, improvement of digestion, skin condition and mood. All that needs to be done is to reduce the amount of acidic foods in the diet to 20%.

Victoria Beckham is one of the supporters of the alkaline diet.
