Almonds - Rich In Useful Fats

Regular consumption of almonds has benefits for the heart, colon and contributes to the health of the whole organism.

Almonds contain vitamins , minerals, proteins, fiber . In the amount of a handful of almonds can be found about one-eighth of the protein needed for the day. 
 
Almonds are a source of vitamin E , copper, magnesium and high quality protein. Experts conclude that the risk of developing heart disease is significantly reduced when nuts are consumed as a snack. 
 
 
 
Another study, published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association , found that eating almonds increased vitamin E levels in blood plasma and red blood cells. This is also associated with a reduction in "bad" cholesterol . 
 
Experts explain that vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from damage. Consumption of a handful of almonds a day can provide the necessary amount of vitamin needed for the health of the body. 
 
A study conducted by California researchers found that consumption of these nuts can also reduce the risk of developing colon cancer. His data are published in Cancer Letters .
