For recovery after a workout, American scientists recommend a glass of cold milk with cocoa .

Research has found that the drink helps muscle recovery after a workout much faster than special invigorating drinks designed for athletes.

According to the researchers, milk drinks contain the proteins and carbohydrates necessary for the recovery of muscles, which supply energy to the muscle tissue. In addition, milk restores the balance of potassium, calcium and magnesium , which are lost through sweat during intense physical activity.
