Combining Foods - Vegetables That Go With Everything

In this article, learn more about Combining Foods - Vegetables That Go With Everything. These vegetables are easy to combine with any food without risk to the stomach.

In previous materials, we pointed out how important it is not only to choose the right foods for your table, but also to combine them correctly when consumed at the same time. The right combination of foods is one of the main requirements not only for their full absorption, but also for the prevention of some gastrointestinal problems - discomfort, bloating and heaviness in the stomach , gas, constipation and more.

The high content of sugars and fiber is the reason why most nutritionists recommend eating fruit alone and not as a dessert, but rather as an appetizer. But how are things with vegetables ?

It turns out that they are among the most convenient products to combine with other foods and allow the greatest freedom of combination without the risk of stomach discomfort. However, not all vegetables fall into this category.

Carbohydrate-rich vegetables such as potatoes, corn, pumpkin, parsnips and most legumes are subject to the same restrictions as all high-sugar foods. They can be combined freely with fatty foods , but not with those high in protein.

As a universal side dish and product that we can easily combine with any type of food, mainly green leafy vegetables and those with lower carbohydrate content are indicated . This is a very wide group of vegetables, allowing the most diverse and more importantly - healthy and safe combinations to diversify our daily menu.

One of the main advantages of green leafy vegetables and those low in carbohydrates is the fact that they are digested very quickly and easily without compromising the metabolism of other foods with which they are combined. This is facilitated by the high natural content of digestive enzymes in these products. This allows green leafy vegetables to be considered as one of the fastest digestible and easily digestible foods that the body processes faster than all other types of products.

The only inconvenience in this case is that they have a very weak saturating effect . However, it is very easily offset by the many possibilities of combining this type of vegetable with any staple food.

According to nutritionists, if we regularly have green leafy vegetables on our table, it makes it much easier to choose the other foods on it - they can be of any type , regardless of their content of carbohydrates, fats or proteins.
