Conjugated (bound) Linoleic Acid Accelerates Weight Loss

In this article, learn more about Conjugated (bound) Linoleic Acid Accelerates Weight Loss. Beneficial for people with hypothyroidism ....

According to a double-blind randomized study from 2000, published in the Journal of Nutrition, conjugated (linked) linoleic acid (CLA) helps reduce body fat and protects muscles. By consuming 3.4 g of CLA daily with food, optimal fat reduction or weight loss of nearly 3 kg is achieved in overweight people. Another positive point is that in a diet aimed at weight loss, the intake of CLA prevents the occurrence of the known yo-yo effect . Instead of gaining fat during post-diet weight gain, muscle mass builds up.

The effect of the acid is that it does not allow the fat cells to enlarge .

In recent years, conjugated linoleic acid has been shown to speed up metabolism , making it particularly suitable for people with hypothyroidism. This contributes to fat burning and weight loss and weight control. In patients with hypothyroidism, the problem is specifically the accumulation of abdominal fat and, which occurs due to the associated imbalance in the synthesis of hormones by the adrenal glands. In addition to me, CLA helps reduce them, and contributes to the normalization of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood, which are abnormal in hypothyroidism.

Decreased insulin resistance in these patients is also positively affected by CLA.

Given that in most cases, hypothyroidism occurs as a result of an autoimmune disease , conjugated linoleic acid may improve the ability of the immune system to function normally.

Of course, CLA is not a magic pill to achieve the desired weight loss without effort, but as a dietary supplement, the acid can optimize the results of the sports and diet program.
