Purpose: The diet is indicated for gastric and duodenal ulcers or chronic gastritis after remission of severe exacerbation after diet 1a; also in acute gastritis after diet 1a. The purpose of the diet

Purpose:

The diet is indicated for gastric and duodenal ulcers or for chronic gastritis after a severe exacerbation has subsided after diet 1a; also in acute gastritis after diet 1a.

Purpose of the diet:

The purpose of the diet is significant sparing of the gastrointestinal tract, reduction of inflammation, better healing of ulcers, to provide complete nutrition in a semi-bed rest.

Common feature:

The diet is low in carbohydrates, the amount of protein and fat is normal. Products and foods that stimulate gastric secretion and irritate the lining of the stomach are sharply limited. The food is steamed or boiled, ground, must be semi-liquid or in the form of puree. The amount of salt is also limited. Very cold and hot dishes are excluded. Meals are 6 times a day. Milk is drunk at night.

Chemical composition and energy of the diet:

Protein - 90 g (60-70% animal), fat - 90-95 g (25% vegetable), carbohydrates - 300-350 g, salt - 8-10 g, free liquid - 1.5 l. Caloric content - 2500- 2600 kcal.

Foods and products that are recommended and prohibited:

Bread and bakery products : only 75-100 grams of thinly toasted breadcrumbs of high quality flour.

Soups : based on slimy decoctions of crushed cereals (semolina, rice, oats, buckwheat) and milk-egg mixtures; milk soups with crushed cereals.

Meat and poultry : lean meats - beef, veal, rabbit, chicken, turkey - without tendons, fascia, fat and skin. The meat is boiled and minced. Souffles, purees, meatballs, steamed. Purees can be added to soups.

Fish : lean species, without skin.

Milk and dairy products : fresh milk, cream, fresh non-sour cottage cheese, steamed cottage cheese souffle. Fermented milk products and cheeses are prohibited.

Eggs : up to 3 per day, boiled or steamed omelet.

Cereals : milk porridge with crushed oats, buckwheat, semolina, rice.

Vegetables : mashed potatoes, carrots, beets with milk and butter; steamed souffle.

Appetizers are not allowed.

Fruits, sweets : jellies, mousses of sweet fruits and their juices, lactic acid, sugar, honey. The diet prohibits: raw fruits and confectionery.

Sauces and condiments : only milk sauces and sour cream sauces.

Drinks : weak tea with milk or cream, rosehip decoction, sweet fruit juices (and forest), diluted in half with water. Consumption of: coffee, cocoa, carbonated drinks is not allowed.

Fats : fresh butter and refined vegetable oils added to ready meals.

About the menu for diet number 1b

1st breakfast : omelette of 2 eggs, steamed, milk semolina porridge, fresh milk.

2nd breakfast : milk.

Lunch : ground rice porridge with milk, steamed meat souffle with mashed potatoes, apple jelly.

Afternoon snack : rosehip decoction, rusks.

Dinner : steamed cottage cheese souffle, fruit sour.
