Purpose

Diet is used for obesity when it is a major disease or accompanies other health problems that do not require a special diet.

Purpose - to affect the metabolism to remove excess fat.

Common feature

The diet is based on reduced calorie intake; free liquids, salt, foods and products that stimulate the appetite are limited. Dishes are eaten hot, cooked, stewed or baked. Feeding is 5-6 times a day.

Chemical composition and calories of the diet

protein - 80-90 grams (60% animal), fat - 70-80% (30% vegetable), carbohydrates - 150 grams, salt - 5-6 g, free liquid - 1-1.2 liters; calories - 1600-1700.

Prohibited and recommended foods and dishes:

- Bread and pasta : rye and wheat bread, wholemeal - 100-150 grams per day. Prohibited: products made of ordinary wheat flour, butter and puff pastry.

- Soups: up to 250-300 grams per meal, prepared from various vegetables with a small amount of potatoes and cereals in them; 2-3 times a week soups based on lean meat or fish broths with vegetables. Not allowed: milk, potato, bean soups and soups of cereals and pasta.

- Meat and poultry : up to 150 grams per day; lean meats (beef, veal, rabbit, chicken, turkey); the consumption of pork and lamb is limited (cooked is allowed, maybe roasted, but after pre-cooking); beef sausages and jelly beef. Prohibited: fatty meats, duck, goose, sausages, ham, cooked and smoked sausages, canned food.

- Fish : 150-200 grams of lean fish per day (cooked, baked), seafood. Prohibited: fatty, salty and smoked fish, canned butter, caviar.

- Dairy products : milk and low-fat yogurt drinks; cream - only in dishes; skimmed curd, limited consumption of low-fat cheeses. The diet does not allow the intake of: nonfat cottage cheese, cream, sweetened yogurt, salty cheeses and those with high fat content.

- Eggs : 1-2 pcs. per day; loosely cooked, mixed with vegetables, protein omelet. Fried eggs are not allowed.

- Cereals : their addition to vegetable soups is limited. Barley porridge and buckwheat porridge, at the expense of bread. Crops such as rice, semolina, oats, pasta and legumes are prohibited.

- Vegetables: increased consumption, most often raw. It is desirable to take all kinds of cabbage, fresh cucumbers, radishes, lettuce, zucchini, squash, tomatoes, turnips; sauerkraut - only after washing. Limit the intake of dishes of potatoes, beets, green peas, carrots (up to 200 grams per day), salted and pickled vegetables.

- Appetizers (appetizers): salads of raw vegetables; vegetable salads with cooked meat and seafood; lean ham; meat and fish jellies. Not allowed: fatty and spicy appetizers and appetizers.

- Fruits, confectionery, confectionery : fruits (including forest) with sweet and sour taste, raw and cooked; jellies, compotes with sweeteners or unsweetened. The diet does not allow the consumption of: grapes, raisins, figs, bananas, dates; also very sweet varieties of other fruits; sugar, confectionery, biscuits, honey, ice cream, sour.

- Sauces and spices : tomato, white with vegetables, red, slightly concentrated mushroom sauces; vinegar. Prohibited: fatty and spicy sauces, mayonnaise, all spices.

- Drinks : tea, black coffee, coffee with milk; a little sweet fruit (and from berries) and vegetable juices. Not allowed: grape juice and other sweet juices, cocoa.

- Fats : the use of oil is limited, and vegetable oils (oil) are allowed only in the preparation of meals. The diet excludes: cooking fats and meat fats.

About the menu for diet number 8:

1st breakfast : vegetable salad with vegetable oil, skim cottage cheese

2nd breakfast: fresh apples

Lunch: vegetarian soup with cream (1/2 serving), boiled meat, stewed cabbage with oil, oshav without sugar

Afternoon snack: skim cottage cheese with milk

Dinner : boiled fish, vegetable stew, tea

At night: skim yogurt
