So, what to do with your diet when you have an ulcer? Every stomach ulcer should arm itself with the following rules:

  • prepare dishes that do not require prolonged chewing and do not irritate the stomach wall;
  • eat often! With fractional nutrition, it is possible to significantly reduce the excitability of the nervous system;
  • do not eat too hot and too cold food. Food should be warm;
  • limit yourself in the consumption of salt! With an ulcer, 8-10 grams of daily dose of salt is allowed.
 

Remember that at the first stage of the disease, the diet is the strictest. It is necessary to take food up to 8 times a day in small portions. Food should be steamed or boiled, as well as thoroughly grated.

Exclude from the diet

It is worth giving up strong agents of gastric secretion. These include:

  • fried food;
  • spicy dishes;
  • meat, fish and mushroom broths;
  • spices (bay leaf, mustard, pepper, etc.);
  • strong tea and coffee;
  • alcohol;
  • canned food;
  • smoked meat

Avoid coarse fiber, which irritates the walls of the stomach. Products containing coarse fibers include:

  • Such vegetables as turnips, radishes, green beans and peas, asparagus;
  • Unripe fruits of vegetables and fruits;
  • Bread made from coarsely ground flour

Remember that with all the restrictions listed above, the daily diet must be balanced and contain all the necessary nutrients: proteins, fats, carbohydrates. Therefore, the menu should be as diverse as possible and contain both plant food and animal protein.

Allowed food

Try to eat as many liquid and porridge-like foods as possible. Food that is quickly digested and leaves your body is good for stomach ulcers. The most durable settlers in your stomach are fats.

The green light for patients with stomach and duodenal ulcers is given by the following products:

  • liquid porridge;
  • vegetable soups;
  • boiled meat and fish;
  • milk and dairy products.
  • hard-boiled eggs;
  • vegetable oils (sunflower, olive);
  • pickles and jellies;
  • alkaline water that does not contain carbon dioxide.

A sample menu of a diet for an ulcer

 

In case of exacerbation of a stomach ulcer, you should follow the following diet, designed for 2 days.

First day

Breakfast : wheat bread with butter - 1 pc.; kefir-100 g; mineral water without gas - 200 ml..

Second breakfast : Hard-boiled egg - 1 pc.; rice porridge - 150 g; mashed fruits - 100 g; skim milk - 150 ml.

Lunch : vegetable broth soup - 250 ml; steamed cutlet, pasta-100 g; a piece of stale white bread, jelly-100 g; grated apple - 100 g;

dried apricots - 3 pcs., skimmed milk -. 150 ml.

Noon : steamed cutlet - 150 g, boiled potatoes (mashed) - 150 g; a piece of white bread, dried apricots or raisins - 40 g; rosehip infusion - 250 ml.

Dinner : boiled meat (beef) - 150 g; hard-boiled egg, vegetable salad - 200 g; a slice of white bread, jelly - 100 g;

skim milk - 150 ml.

Second day

Breakfast : wheat bread with butter, mineral water without gas - 200 ml.

Second breakfast : soft-boiled eggs - 2 pcs. (A steam omelet is possible), oatmeal - 150 g; not strong tea.

 

Lunch : vegetable broth soup - 250 ml; steamed cutlets - 150 g, canned peas - 100 g; boiled potatoes - 150 g, a slice of white bread, jelly - 100 g.

Noon : semolina - 150 g, a slice of white bread, skimmed milk - 150 ml.

Dinner : steamed or boiled fish - 150 g; grated vegetables - 150 g; a hard-boiled egg, a piece of white bread, skimmed milk - 150 ml.
