To lose weight, a man needs to eat more protein and follow a few rules.

  • Exclude easily digestible carbohydrates (bread, pasta, confectionery, sugar, etc.) from the menu, but protein, animal and vegetable fats and carbohydrates that double for a long time (whole grains) should be consumed in sufficient quantities.
  • Limit salt, but do not exclude it completely.
  • Feeding should be 3 times a day.
  • Portions should be as big as a palm or in other words: 300 - 350 grams (for women - 200 grams).
  • The last meal should be no later than 18 hours.
  • It is desirable to drink at least 1.5 liters of water a day (preferably in the first half of the day).
  • If you go to the gym, then the amount of water can be increased to 2 - 2.5 liters depending on the load.

 

Diet for men - a sample daily menu

  • Breakfast

Fresh vegetable salad, seasoned with vegetable fat, wholemeal porridge (Options for the next days: 100 grams of cottage cheese + salad or 2 boiled eggs + salad).

 

  • Lunch

Fresh vegetable salad seasoned with vegetable fat, or lean vegetable soup + a piece of boiled meat (chicken breast, lean beef) or lean white fish.

 

  • Dinner

Dinner is determined by what you eat for breakfast. If you ate porridge with salad in the morning, you can have eggs with salad or cottage cheese with salad. Alternate porridge, eggs and cottage cheese.

 

Once a week, be sure to take 1 unloading day with juices. Drink 1.5 liters of freshly squeezed juice of your choice (except tomato and grape), diluted with the same amount of water and take it throughout the day until 18:00.
