Media giant Walt Disney has announced that it will ban unhealthy food ads on its TV channels and websites in order to help the anti-obesity initiative.
The ban will take effect in 2015 due to current advertising contracts .

For example, advertised cereals must contain less than 10 grams of sugar per serving to be aired on television. Disney
Channels are one of the most watched by children and teenagers around the world. Demonstrating healthy foods will encourage young consumers to eat more fruits and vegetables and limit high-calorie, high-fat foods. This is the first step towards creating a healthy eating culture among children and reducing the risk of being overweight at this age, experts explain. Obesity and related diseases show frightening values in world statistics. They have long since replaced malnutrition
and infectious diseases from the top causes of death in the world.
It is even more shocking that our small country is among the leading positions according to the data on overweight in the world population . And if a sedentary lifestyle is the number one enemy , then the wrong diet goes hand in hand with it.
