I guess you will all agree that it is better to do prevention against various diseases than to have to fight those that have already developed. Today we decided to take time for the liver and see how to improve its health , as it is one of the vital organs. It is responsible not only for digestion but also for blood formation. In order to be able to perform its assigned functions for a long time and completely, it is necessary to take care of it and to adhere to certain eating habits or the so-called rules. It is about building a certain way of life that does not allow harmful substances to accumulate in the human body. This will normalize body weight, improve overall health, tone the skin.

There are cases in which a  diet for the liver is prescribed by a doctor in the presence of the following problems:

  • gastrointestinal diseases and problems with bile secretion;
  • high blood cholesterol, hypertension;
  • allergic reactions, excessive fatigue;
  • alcohol abuse;
  • intake of strong drugs, hormones.

 

The diet for the liver is not complicated, does not require a complete waiver of your favorite food, but it is necessary to adhere to the regime for life.

 

Rules :

  • to drink at least 2 liters of clean water every day;
  • nutrition should be separate - 4 - 5 times a day, to take small portions when you feel hungry;
  • to reduce the consumption of simple carbohydrates (sugars) and to completely exclude sugar substitutes in the menu;
  • to eat freshly prepared food more often, to avoid its reheating;
  • to reduce the use of sausages, various salty, spicy, smoked and otherwise processed foods;
  • enrich the table with fresh vegetables and fruits, eat more legumes saturated with protein;
  • to consume wholemeal bread;
  • fatty and fried foods should be excluded from the daily menu.
