Eating eggs is no longer considered a risk to our health, scientists say. After years in which experts advised us to avoid eggs from the daily menu, they are now considered healthy.

Eggs contain vitamin D, which is good for our bones because it helps absorb calcium from the body and bones and prevents diseases such as osteoporosis and rickets.

The reason why eggs have become more nutritious in the last decade is that hens no longer feed on slaughter manure, which was banned in the 1990s. Instead, birds are given a mixture of wheat, corn, and high-protein foods that make their eggs healthier.

Cholesterol in modern eggs is 13% less and vitamin D 64% more.

Two years ago, Canadian researchers claimed that eggs actually lower blood pressure. their explanation was that the assimilation of eggs by the body produces proteins that mimic the action of drugs designed to lower blood pressure.

A new study has found that eating two eggs for breakfast could help you lose weight, as the high protein content makes us feel full for longer.

The study, in which volunteers ate two eggs a day for two weeks, also showed that none of them had elevated cholesterol levels.
