Food Against Bloated Stomach

Summer is full of products that can swell our stomachs and others to solve the problem.

Summer is a special period for our body - we move more, we have a wider choice of healthy food and although we can not get a slim line. Our stomach sabotages us, treacherously sticks out and demonstrates to others our problem ...

With the same foods we love so much in the summer, we can deal with bloated bellies. Here's a few examples:

1. Eat watermelon . It can't be the cause of your bloating, on the contrary. In the summer, it often happens that our body is dehydrated, and when this happens, the mechanisms embedded in it are activated to retain fluids, as a result of which we swell. Eating watermelon, whose water content is as much as 93%, improves the hydration of the body, reduces the concentration of salt and stimulates the release of fluids.

2. Tomatoes are rich in potassium, which regulates sodium levels in the body. A salad of 1-2 tomatoes, topped with a spoonful of olive oil and sprinkled with a pinch of oregano works wonders with our waistline! In addition, tomatoes contain lycopene, which helps the skin to protect itself from the harmful effects of sunlight.
Melon is also a good source of potassium .

3. Of course, we can enrich the salad with cucumber and parsley, but they make a significant contribution to dealing with swelling and on their own. In cucumber , this is due to its rich water content , which is why it acts as a natural diuretic and low in calories. In 100 g of cucumber there are only 11 kcal. This vegetable can always refresh us - consumed in a salad or just added to the water for flavor with other vegetables, fruits, herbs and ice or applied in the form of circles on the eyelids ...

4. Parsley is also a natural diuretic . However, it is also rich in vitamins K and C, which in one case supports bone health, in the other immunity.

5. Tarator prepared with real Bulgarian yogurt would also help relieve bloating. The effect of water content and cucumber is already clear, but the beneficial bacteria in milk help maintain a healthy intestinal microflora and prevent constipation. Dill soothes the stomach, as it relaxes the smooth muscles of the intestine, in addition to acting antibacterial, it has antioxidant ingredients. If you add garlic, it has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, which is suitable for the season due to the easy spread of bacteria and other microorganisms. The inclusion of walnuts makes cold soup more nutritious and good for the heart and brain.

6. Summer is the time for iced tea. Mint is an herb that is especially suitable for use in the heat. Fresh leaves can always be added to homemade lemonade or flavored water. Mint acts as an antispasmodic, which relieves the digestive tract and chases flatulence . Experts even recommend that we always use mint in the form of a drink before and after a meal.

7. Let's mix up the "trouble". The correct composition of the smoothie against bloated stomach is a piece of pineapple , banana and vegetable yogurt. You can also add a sprig of parsley. Why? Pineapple contains the enzyme bromelain, which improves digestion and absorption of proteins by the body, milk contains probiotics, and bananas are rich in potassium.
