Food Allergy Is Not A Life Sentence

Unhealthy habitats, including polluted air, heavy traffic, polluted soil, poisoned rivers, dams, seas, oceans, and the poisonous food we eat, with the so-called E-foods, in which they are colored, flavored, stabilized and protected from spoilage, are one of the main causes of food allergies.

 

Allergies are rarely genetically inherited in humans, more often they occur at some point as a result of an unhealthy lifestyle and unhealthy living environment.

 

In young children, allergies appear even easier, because the child's body has less developed defense mechanisms against global pollution and its negative consequences.

 

Food allergies in children most often appear until they are 3 years old .

 

The "Big Eight" types of products make up over 90% of the world's food allergies, but some of them vary by region. Rice allergies, for example, are common in East Asia, where they make up a large part of the population's menu.

 

In Central Europe, this is wheat, and in Australia there is an increased sensitivity to red meat.

 

In some cases, dairy products are intolerant to some of the proteins in milk - casein and lactoglobulin. Typical symptoms are swelling, itching, bronchospasm, fever, drop in blood pressure, cramps and disorder.

 

Eggs are made up of various proteins, many of which are allergens. There are four major proteins in the protein that cause allergic reactions - ovomucoid, ovalbumin, ovotransferrin and lysozyme. Ovoalbumin is a major allergen, 50% of egg white.

Fish allergies are due to proteins found in the muscle tissue of fish. Sometimes allergies are more specific and are usually associated with the so-called. occupational diseases - that is, for people whose workplace involves the processing or harvesting of fish.

 

There is also intolerance to shellfish - these are allergies to proteins contained in mussels, shrimp, oysters and crabs.

 

Allergies to about 15 proteins contained in soy and wheat flour are also common.

 

In the presence of any of these allergies, eating can be a real challenge. Foods containing allergens should be eliminated in the diet to treat allergies.

 

Although there is no cure for food allergies, medications can affect both minor and serious symptoms. Antihistamines can be used to treat symptoms such as a rash, runny nose and abdominal pain associated with an allergic reaction.

 

In case of difficulty breathing or asthma attacks as a result of a food allergy, a bronchodilator is recommended .

 

However, in the case of a breathing problem caused by an allergy, it is very important to seek immediate medical attention, even if breathing medications have been given to treat the reaction at home.

 

Epinephrine is often used to treat severe allergic reactions. Drugs that increase heart rate and blood pressure, such as epinephrine, are often needed to control various severe allergic reactions.

 

It should be known that food allergies are not for life.

 

Animal protein intolerance decreases as the child grows if he or she has been allergic. For example, some children begin to tolerate egg yolk after the age of 1 year.

 

Allergies can appear and disappear throughout life, as well as periods of remission and exacerbation.
