Longan (Dragon's Eye)

Longan  (Dragon's Eye) is the fruit of an evergreen tree found in Taiwan, China, Vietnam and Indonesia. Its shell is thin and dense, but easy to remove. The color of the "Dragon's Eye" varies from brown to yellowish red, and the flesh is translucent, white or pink.

The juicy inside of the fruit is sweet and fragrant with a hint of musk.

Logan is sold in bunches (like grapes), can be stored for 2-3 days at room temperature and 5-7 days in the refrigerator.
