Green Or Red Apple? Which Is More Useful?

In this article, learn more about Green Or Red Apple? Which Is More Useful?. Which apples to choose according to their color? What are they useful for us?.

Bulgarians are gardeners. Or at least we were as many farmers and ranchers. It is in our genes to grow fruit trees and eat apples. It is sad that the apples that have been available on our market for years are not ours, but driven from afar, as if we do not have one of the most fertile lands.

Apples are available all year round in stores. We have the opportunity to choose between at least 3 varieties. We have already learned that the fruits of the off-season - are not "real". They are often rotten on the inside, well treated to affect their durability.

However, autumn can delight us with its abundance of delicious apples.

Haven't you wondered which one is better to buy? Green, red, yellow ...

Green apples are usually more sour and satisfy a certain taste. But experts say they are a richer source of nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin K than reds. They also contain more iron, potassium and even protein. Green apples also contain more fiber - you remember this feeling after consuming such a fruit: for satiety, fullness and reluctance to reach for a second. Well, this is due to the satiating and a little boring effect of swallowing and chewing the more cellulosic flesh. Green apples are more suitable if you want to lose weight or have a tendency to raise blood sugar because they contain less carbohydrates and sugars.

However, if you stick to the "healing" side of apples, it is better to choose red ones. Experts say that they are richer in antioxidants, and given our load of any toxins provide enough agents to combat them.

In general, apples are rich in pectin, quercetin, favonoids and other nutrients that protect us from free radicals.

This "wrong" fruit is food for the heart, intestines and liver. Their consumption has a good effect on the metabolic system.

To make sure that the apple is more useful than it can harm you - you must wash it well under running water. It is desirable to take such, grown, stored and transported under the most environmentally friendly conditions possible.

The apple also gives wonderful healthier solutions for breakfast or desserts. The strudel with a little sugar is an option. Grated apple with yogurt, nuts, cinnamon and a little honey is a great breakfast. The fruit salad with a little cream and a cap of rum can create a mood. And, in general, one of the most juicy and delicious cakes are those with apples - look for recipes in old homemade notebooks! Our grandmothers were the "Kings" of these pastries!
