How to eat according to biorhythms - in accordance with the hourly activity of the organs and the natural seasons to be healthy, is the focus of a series of educational lectures that will be held in 4 Bulgarian cities. The beginning is today in Plovdiv, where Countess Angelika Wolfskiil , German naturopath and Schussler's therapist, will share her experience in the treatment of proper nutrition and Schussler's therapy of metabolic disorders and overweight, diabetes, allergies, rheumatism, hypertension and others. The naturopath will present at the lectures her new book, published in Bulgarian - "Schussler's salts and nutrition according to biorhythms".
Angelika Wolfskil is known for her knowledge and practical advice in maintaining health and overcoming imbalances in the body through the application of various methods such as homeopathy, iris diagnostics, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine. She uses Schussler's therapy successfully in inflammatory processes, intolerance and allergy to various foods, overcoming stress and more. Here are some of her dietary recommendations:
- Let there be an interval of 3 to 6 hours between meals. It is important to consider it also with the stay of individual foods in the stomach. Rice and fish, for example, stay 1-2 hours, salad and black bread - 3-4 hours, and pork and french fries - 7 hours!
- In the morning between 7 and 9 o'clock is the right time for breakfast and it should be the richest meal of the day, because then the stomach develops its maximum activity and has the most digestive energy.
- In the evening and at night the production of stomach acid and bile decreases significantly. For this reason, late and night meals are unhealthy and negatively affect sleep. Between 7 and 9 pm, the stomach is almost non-existent. If possible, avoid the consumption of animal proteins at dinner, because in the evening they are difficult to digest.
- In recent years, it has been scientifically proven that there is a link between nutrition and the development of rheumatic diseases. In many cases, following a special diet leads to improvement after 4 to 6 weeks, especially in inflammatory and rheumatic diseases (arthritis) and in terms of general mobility. Foods of plant origin should be basic, limiting meat, dairy products and other foods of animal origin, as they are strongly acidic and form mucus, which stimulates inflammation. Alcohol, nicotine, coffee should be avoided.
- The number of people affected by allergies is increasing avalanche. In case of allergies, the following should be avoided: cold drinks while eating, cold sour foods (eg pickles, pickles); too frequent consumption of sandwiches, raw vegetables and fruits; confectionery, dairy products, white flour, etc.
