You will soon find that using this simple technique, you will have too much of the usual portion. But it is not recommended to wash down food and drink within 30 minutes after eating. Water removes digestive enzymes and dilutes gastric juice, which slows down the digestion process.

 

Water during sports

There are nuances here. On many forums, it is advised to drink at least 3 liters per workout, which does not correspond to the real need at all. By consuming such a large amount of liquid, you yourself remove not only slags and toxins, but also disturb the balance of electrolytes and microelements, which simply do not have time to recover. The best option: on the first day, weigh yourself before and after training. The difference will be from 300 to 1,000 g, depending on the characteristics of the body. This is the difference and you need to replenish each workout by drinking an equal amount of water .

 

Individual daily rate of water

Scientists do not have an answer to the question about the exact rate of water consumption per day. There is an approximate medical norm: 30 ml of water per 1 kg of body weight per day. That is, with a weight of 55 kg, 1.5 liters per day is quite enough. If at the same time you feel that you are dehydrated - be sure to drink more. And do not forget to limit the amount of salty and spicy food - sodium chloride retains fluid in the body and causes swelling, and after a spicy meal it is very difficult to quench your thirst.
