Cardiologists talked about how you need to work in order not to die before time.

The European Society of Cardiology monitored 1,200 people for 50 years. They tried to understand how vacation affects the length of a person's life and his cardiological status. As a result, experts found out that a long vacation reduced the risk of developing heart disease, which prolongs life.

Here is one example: businessmen who take less than three weeks a year on vacation die 37% more often than those who take the entire month off. Among those who died earlier than expected, there are also people who did not have bad habits, they led a healthy lifestyle, ate right and did sports.

- Remember that a healthy lifestyle cannot be a substitute for real rest. Therefore, we can say with full confidence that vacation is indispensable. Fatty acids and the right food will not be able to compensate for it. Only a full-fledged rest will be able to relieve stress and restore the health of your heart. This is especially noticeable among men, says Timo Strandberga, an expert at the University of Helsinki.
