Prepare a proper breakfast

The first rule on the eve of any holiday , especially if the plans are grandiose, is to eat without waiting for lunch: have a proper breakfast. Start the celebration in the  morning with a generous bowl of porridge, seasoned with butter or oil, a handful of healthy berries and a pinch of cinnamon. Porridge (any you like, but oatmeal is out of the running) stabilizes blood sugar levels, which will help control appetite throughout the day. Add a serving of probiotic yogurt to your menu to support your immune system and sensitive probiotics to combat the side effects of the holiday season , such as heavy drinking and lack of sleep.

 

Lean on the water
