Peel an onion, chop finely and fry in olive oil until transparent. Cut the green spices.
Wash the lentils well and boil it until ready in 3-4 teaspoons of water. While still hot, add the bulgur and mix thoroughly. Close the jar with a lid and leave until the bulgur swells (about 30-40 minutes).
When this happens, season the mixture with black pepper, salt, add tomato paste, fried onions, red pepper and cumin. Knead the combination very well using gloves. A uniform orange mass should be obtained. If its consistency is liquid, add more bulgur and mix thoroughly again.
Finally, put the green spices in the mixture and form oval meatballs from it or give another shape to the appetizer.
Serve it on lettuce leaves with lemon juice.
