We offer you a piece of apple pie with nuts, cinnamon and cream according to the recipe of our reader Svetoslava Pavlova.

Necessary products

For the dough:

  • 6 green apples
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons sifted flour
  • 3/4 tea cup of melted butter or oil
  • 1 cup hazelnuts or walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt

For cream:

  • sour cream (200 grams or at your discretion)
  • powdered sugar to taste

 

  • fresh fruit to arrange when served

 

Method of preparation :

Beat the eggs together with the sugar, pour in the oil, add the pre-peeled, peeled and grated green apples. Followed by flour, selected nuts (crushed), cinnamon, soda and a pinch of salt. Thoroughly mix all the products and transfer the dough to a suitable form, the bottom of which you have previously covered with baking paper.

Place in the oven at 180 degrees (do not use a fan) and after 30-40 minutes the cake will be ready.

Beat the sour cream with powdered sugar to taste until creamy. Cover the cooled dessert with it and serve with pieces of fresh fruit.
