  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • pinch of kosher salt

For butter crumbs :

  • 164 grams of flour
  • 118 grams of oatmeal
  • 237 grams of brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 170 grams of unsalted butter, cut into cubes

For garnish :

  • vanilla ice cream

Method of preparation :

  • In a large bowl, combine the apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, flour and salt. Stir gently to taste the apples evenly.
  • Distribute them on the bottom of a rectangular tray measuring approximately 30/18 centimeters.
  • Make the crumbly dough by mixing the flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in a medium bowl. Stir.
  • Add the butter and with the help of your fingers mix and form crumbs the size of a pea.
