Apple-covered cupcakes for afternoon tea enjoyment. Fluffy and fresh, suitable for dessert, you can prepare them for school or work.

Required products :

  • 150 grams of butter, cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tea cups sifted flour with baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 tea cup of fresh milk
  • 3 red apples

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Put in 12 cupcake tins paper cups.

In a small bowl, beat the butter, sugar and vanilla with a mixer until creamy. Gradually add the eggs, beating constantly. Transfer the mixture to a larger bowl and add the flour, cinnamon and milk. Stir until the mixture is homogenous.

Peel an apple and grate it, then add it to the mixture and stir. Pour the resulting mixture into paper cupcake cups so that they fill 2/3 of the volume.

Cut the remaining 2 apples into thin slices and place 5 on each cupcake, then put in the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden. Cool on a wire rack and serve with a cup of hot tea or pack for school or work.
