Required products :

500 grams of quinces
500 grams of apples
1 lemon
750 grams of sugar

 

Method of preparation :

Wash and dry the fruits, cut them into pieces. Put in a saucepan, pour the juice of 1/2 lemon and 1.5 liters of water, place the dish on the stove. Let simmer for 45 minutes.

Then strain, keeping the liquid in a bowl. Measure its amount and add 250 grams of sugar for every 500 milliliters. Add the remaining citrus juice and place on the stove. When the juice boils, reduce the temperature and simmer for 1.5 hours, periodically removing the foam with a slotted spoon.

Once the syrup thickens, increase the heat and cook for at least 10 minutes until white bubbles form on the surface. Drop the liquid into a plate, if the drop does not spread, the jelly is ready.

Distribute the jam in jars and close. Turn them upside down and allow to cool completely. Store in a dark and cool place.
