How To Cook Apple Pancakes With Homemade Caramel Sauce - Recipe

Required products :

  • 200 grams of self-swelling flour
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 150 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 150 milliliters of apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 small apples, grated

For garnish :

  • caramelized apples
  • homemade caramel sauce

Method of preparation :

 

  • Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and apple cider.
  • Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and add the egg mixture.
  • Mix until smooth dough with a wooden spoon or spatula.
  • Add the melted butter and grated apples and stir again.
  • Heat a Teflon pan over medium heat and grease it with oil.
  • Pour 1 ladle of the mixture and bake the pancake until small bubbles appear and the top looks dry.
  • Turn and bake until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  • Serve the pancakes warm, garnished with slices of caramelized apples and homemade caramel sauce.
