How To Cook Apple Pie With Cottage Cheese And Cinnamon - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Apple pie with cottage cheese and cinnamon". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 2.5 teaspoons of flour (the amount depends on the humidity of the curd)
  • 250 grams of butter
  • 200 grams of cottage cheese
  • 2/3 tea cup sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 6 apples (or how many are needed, the quantity depends on their size)
  • cinnamon
  • 12 slices of tangerine (you can use dates, dried apricots, walnuts, prunes)

Method of preparation :

Beat the sugar and softened butter, add the cottage cheese, stir and then pour in the flour, which you previously sifted together with the baking powder and vanilla sugar.

Make dough. It does not get very elastic, but it will not stick to the hands and will roll easily.

Once kneaded, wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for half an hour. As mentioned above, you may need to use a different amount of flour than indicated, depending on the moisture content of the curd you prefer.

Prepare the filling. Wash the apples, peel them, cut the fruit into two pieces and remove the core with the seeds. Put a slice of tangerine in each half (options for replacing citrus are dried fruits or walnuts).

Divide the dough into two parts, roll one of them out and spread it on the bottom of the pan, forming small boards along the walls of the bowl.

Then arrange the apples, face down, and sprinkle with cinnamon. If the fruit is not sweet enough, sprinkle with sugar (sand). In this case, a form measuring 20 x 30 cm was used.

Roll out the second half of the dough and cover the apples. Pinch the edges and smear the surface with beaten egg yolk.

Bake the pie at a temperature of 180 degrees, it takes between 40 and 60 minutes.

Enjoy your meal!
