How To Cook Apple Puff Pastry With Cream Cheese And Icing - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Apple puff pastry with cream cheese and icing". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 500 grams of puff pastry
  • 250 grams of cream cheese
  • 500 grams of apple puree or jam
  • 3/4 tea cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tablespoons of milk

Method of preparation :

Thaw the dough in advance, turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees, prepare a round baking dish with a non-stick coating (you can use silicone).

Roll out the dough, cut it into 16 triangles. Arrange 12 of them at the end of the dish, placing them with the wide part against the wall of the tray. Press the corners (on the wide side) of the triangles together, joining them.

Mix the cream cheese with 1/4 tea cup of powdered sugar, add the yolk and vanilla extract. Stir with a fork until smooth.

Spread the finished filling on the dough, leaving the corners (pointing to the middle of the dish) uncovered. Then add the apple puree and cover it with the free puff pastry corners, which you press to the outside of the dough. This will make a beautiful "ring" with a delicious cream.

Cut the remaining 4 triangles into 3 narrow strips each. Fill the 12 places without dough with them.

Bake the cake until golden brown (about 20-30 minutes).

Allow to cool slightly and spread with icing of the remaining powdered sugar, beaten with a few spoons of milk.

You can now taste this wonderful culinary creation.

Enjoy!
