Required products :

For swamps:

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon + 2 tablespoons flour, plus more for sprinkling
  • 1/2 tea cup cold butter, cut into cubes

For the stuffing:

  • 1/2 teaspoon chilled butter
  • 1 kg of apples, cut into slices
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • cream, ice cream or sour cream for serving

Method of preparation is:

For the dough, mix the sugar, salt and 1 teaspoon + 2 tablespoons of flour in a large bowl. Add oil and rub between your fingers to obtain crumbs.

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead the dough by rolling it out with a rolling pin to dissolve the butter.

When the mixture becomes flexible enough, make a ball again and return to the bowl. Pour 3 tablespoons of ice-cold water and pierce the dough with a fork to absorb the liquid. It is possible to break the dough into small pieces, but this is good.

Transfer the dough again to the hob and knead with a spatula, if necessary add more flour. Knead the dough well and put it in an envelope and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough and put it in a greased tart pan, press on the walls and bottom, and cut off the excess dough.

Refrigerate until needed again.

Prepare the filling - melt the butter until it starts to brown for about 3-5 minutes. Set aside.

Pour lemon juice, sugar, salt over the sliced apples and stir.

Pour the apples on the goods and pour the butter.

Bake at 200 degrees for about 1 hour, leave the cake to cool before serving.

Serve with sour cream or whipped cream, and why not with vanilla ice cream.
