Required products :
600 grams of apricots
500 grams of sugar
1 lemon
1 tablespoon lavender
Method of preparation :
Wash the apricots, divide them into two parts and remove the stones.
Weigh 500 grams of peeled fruit and cut them into cubes measuring about 1 centimeter.
Finely grate the rind of 1 lemon.
In the bowl in which you will cook the jam, mix the apricots with the sugar and add the citrus peel. If desired, pour 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. Store the fruit in the refrigerator overnight.
Then place the pan on the stove and cook the jam over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring and removing the foam.
Prepare your lavender.
Once you turn off the heat, add the fragrant flowers to the apricots, stir and distribute the jam in jars while hot.
Close, turn upside down and allow to cool.
