Required products :

1 kg of pitted apricots
300 whole grams of walnuts
600 grams of sugar

Method of preparation :

Wash the apricots, cut them in half and carefully remove the stones. Put the fruit in a suitable container and sprinkle with sugar. Stir very gently and let stand for several hours or overnight. During this time, they will release their juice.

There are 4 stages of cooking.
Put the dish on the stove and let its contents boil. Allow to simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally so that the fruit does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely. Repeat this procedure two more times.
When the jam has cooled and after the third cooking, add the walnuts. Stir and let the jam boil for 20 minutes.
Then, while it is still hot, distribute it in sterilized jars and close. Turn them upside down in a dark place and cover with a blanket.

Enjoy your meal!
