Required products :

  • 250 grams of flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 20 grams of black cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 160 milliliters of water
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

Method of preparation :

In a large bowl, mix the flour, yeast, seeds and salt. Add 120 milliliters of water and 1 1/2 teaspoons of olive oil. Stir all the products with your fingers to mix. Add the remaining olive oil and portions of water, if necessary, to get a soft dough.

Grease a plate and knead the dough for 5-10 minutes. In the beginning, the dough will be very moist, but over time it will acquire a smoother texture. Transfer to a greased bowl and leave to rise.

Preheat the pan in the middle of the oven to 190 degrees.

When the dough rises, knead it again on a floured surface and divide it into 4-6 balls. Roll each to a thickness of 3-5 millimeters.

Remove the hot pan from the oven and sprinkle with flour. Put some of the rolled loaves (you may need to bake them in several batches).

Bake for 5-10 minutes, until they start to brown and swell. Take them out of the oven and cover them with a clean towel until cool.
