Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup almonds, finely ground
  • 24 whole almonds, blanched

Method of preparation :

  • Beat the butter with the sugar.
  • Add the flour, salt, almond extract and ground almonds and knead a smooth dough.
  • Divide it into 24 walnut-sized balls, then roll slightly.
  • Arrange them on a tray covered with baking paper and gently press the dough with a fork.
  • Distribute the almonds in the middle of each jam and lightly press them so that they do not peel off during baking.
  • Bake the cakes in a preheated 160 degree oven until lightly browned.
