  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon anise
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 80 grams of peeled almonds

Method of preparation :

Wash the dried fruits, pour hot water over them and place on the stove. When the liquid boils, remove from the heat and drain the water, dry the fruit well.

Wash the apples, peel them and cut into small cubes.

Cut the dried fruits into large pieces.

Squeeze the juice from the lemon, grate its peel.

Mix all the fruits in a suitable container, pour the lemon juice, put the peel, close with a lid and leave for 2 - 2.5 hours.

Add cocoa, baking powder and spices to the flour.

Crush or cut the almonds with a knife.

Mix the fruit with the flour and spices, add the liqueur and make a dough.

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line the bottom and walls with a suitable rectangular shape with baking paper. Pour the dough into it, level the surface and let it cook for 60 minutes.

The finished bread should be cooled in the dish and then remove and cut, because otherwise it will spoil its shape.
