Learn how to cook "Aromatic homemade cocktail cherries". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

1.5 teaspoons water
1/2 teaspoon pomegranate juice
100 milliliters lemon juice a
pinch of salt
1 star anise
600 grams cherries
1 orange
1 teaspoon granulated sugar

Method of preparation :

Wash the cherries, peel them, you can leave the stalks.

Pour the water, pomegranate and lemon juices into the pot. Add the washed and chopped orange peel, add a pinch of salt, anise, sugar and place the dish on the stove. The mixture should boil, then reduce the temperature and allow the aromatic liquid to prepare until the sugar melts, stirring occasionally.

Once the sweet crystals have melted, put the cherries in a saucepan and cook on low heat for 10 minutes (or until the syrup tastes like fruit).

Remove the pan from the heat and transfer its contents to a bowl. Wait for it to cool to room temperature and distribute the cherries together with the syrup in jars. Put them in the refrigerator for 3 days.

Then you can use fragrant fruits to decorate cakes, pies, ice creams and other desserts, also add to soft and alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Of course, you can eat cherries and just like that :)

Enjoy your meal!
