For the sixth sandwich:

  • 5 slices fresh mozzarella

  • 3 slices of tomato
  • 2 tablespoons chopped basil

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Grease a large pan with some of the melted butter. Arrange 12 of the slices next to each other, overlapping them slightly.

On top of the first two slices, place two of the cheddar cheese slices and the four ham slices, cover with the other cheddar slices.

On the next two slices, place half of the Monterey Jack cheese, put two of the bacon slices and pour half of the Ranch sauce. Cut the chicken fillet into slices and place on top, add the remaining sauce and two more slices of bacon, then sprinkle with the remaining Monterey Jack cheese.

Sprinkle the other two slices with a portion of grated cheddar cheese, arrange folded slices of smoked meat on top. Put half of the fried onions, sprinkle with the remaining cheddar.

Make the fourth pair of sandwiches by placing 3 slices of Provolone cheese on both slices. Place the sliced steak on top and sprinkle with the remaining fried onions. Add the stewed peppers and cover with the other 3 slices of Provolone.

The next pair of sandwiches is with ripe mozzarella. Put half of the cheese on the two slices, place the slices of turkey and the last two slices of bacon on top. Arrange the avocado slices and sprinkle with the remaining grated ripe mozzarella.

Prepare the last sandwiches by placing the slices of fresh mozzarella on the slices, spread the finely chopped dried tomatoes on top, followed by the slices of fresh tomato, season with salt and pepper and add the chopped basil.

Once you are done with all the sandwiches, cover them with the remaining slices, again overlapping them at the edges. Grease them with the rest of your oil. Place a second tray on the slices to press them well and add some weights to it, such as pans that would not be damaged in the oven. Put in a preheated oven to bake for 20 minutes, as the sandwiches are pressed by the weight.

Then remove from the oven, remove the extra dishes and return to the oven for another 20 minutes to bake the slices and acquire an appetizing golden tan.

Turn the sandwiches on a large board or tray, cut into small pieces and enjoy.
Remember that you can always prepare the recipe with affordable and familiar to you products or add new flavors!
