How To Cook Baked Apples With Cinnamon, Ginger And Caramel Walnuts - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Baked apples with cinnamon, ginger and walnuts in caramel". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

4 well ripened but hard enough apples

4 teaspoons liquid honey

2 teaspoons cinnamon powder

4 pinches of ginger powder

4 teaspoons grated lemon peel

50 grams of walnuts or almonds

75 grams of butter

1/4 teaspoon sugar

Method of preparation :

Wash the apples well and carefully remove the core with the seeds, trying not to damage the "bottom" of the fruit. Inside, put 1 teaspoon of honey and the same amount of grated lemon peel. Fill with crushed (but not finely ground) walnuts, sprinkle with cinnamon and ginger.

Bake in the oven at 160 degrees for about 20-30 minutes (time depends on the size of the fruit). When they are ready, arrange them in plates and start making caramel immediately.

Melt the butter in a suitable bowl, add the sugar and stir until it melts. The mixture should begin to thicken and acquire the color of tea.

Drizzle each apple with the hot caramel.

If you don't like the caramel offer, you can use honey.

Have a good time!
