How To Cook Baked Bread Cubes With Blueberries And Eggs - Recipe

Required products :

  • 12 slices of stale bread, cut into large cubes
  • 2 packets of cream cheese (total 2250 grams), cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon fresh blueberries
  • 12 broken eggs
  • 2 teaspoons fresh milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 tea cup of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar crystals
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 teaspoon fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Method of preparation :

Grease a rectangular pan with grease.

Put half the bread and cream cheese in it. Sprinkle with 1 cup of blueberries and cover with the remaining bread cubes.

In a large bowl, mix the eggs with the milk, vanilla and syrup. Pour the resulting mixture over the bread and leave for 1 night in the refrigerator.

In the morning, remove from the refrigerator and leave for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Bake at 180 degrees under foil for 30 minutes. Then open the pan and continue baking for another 25-30 minutes.

In a saucepan, mix the sugar, cornstarch and water. Boil for 3-4 minutes and add 1 teaspoon of blueberries. Stew on low heat for 10 minutes until the fruit softens and cracks. Stir the butter into the mixture and pour the resulting sauce over the baked slices.
