Cod is a low-fat, high-protein fish and is a great choice if you are on a diet. We present you a recipe with this fish, including potatoes, tomatoes, onions and spices.

Necessary products

  • 2 fillets (about 200 grams) of cod fish
  • 5 small potatoes (about 400 grams)
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • ½ lemon
  • ½ tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • a little chopped parsley

 

Method of preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Cut the potatoes and place them in a baking tray. Add onion, garlic, oregano and olive oil. Stir to cover the potatoes with olive oil.

Bake for about 15 minutes, then turn the potatoes over and bake for another 15 minutes.

Cut the tomatoes and lemon into large pieces and add them to the pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Finally, add the cod fillets and cook for another 10 minutes to acquire a golden color.

Serve the finished dish while it is warm. Serve with a little parsley. Enjoy your meal!
