Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 tea cup of milk
  • 5 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries (chopped)

for the glaze:

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice (or more if needed)
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated orange peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method of preparation :

Mix the flour well with the sugar, baking powder and salt.

In a large bowl put the eggs and milk, melted butter and 2 tablespoons of lemon peel, flavor with vanilla.

Beat well until combined and add the flour and blueberries. Stir well.

Prepare a donut baking tray and fill each tin halfway with the mixture. It would be easiest for you if you use paper mail.

Bake for 10-12 minutes (if your molds are too small, you will need about 7-9 minutes) until dry.

Allow to cool for 5 minutes in the mold, then carefully remove from there and move to a suitable place to cool completely.

Sift the powdered sugar into a small bowl and add 3 tablespoons of orange juice, grated peel and vanilla. Stir to combine well, if necessary and your glaze seems very thick, add a little more orange juice.

Dip half of the donuts in the glaze and spread with a spatula.

Wait for the glaze to dry and serve.
